Color and material are decisions you make for each panel
A furniture unit does not have to be one color or one material. Klackjoy stores finish references on each panel, so a door, shelf, side, back, drawer, or soft insert can have its own treatment.
- Standard panels can use the full compatible finish range.
- Glass doors, metal hardware, wood fronts, and soft panels keep their production-specific material rules.
- Changing one panel never forces the rest of the design to match.

Can I choose a different color for every panel?
Yes. Each panel stores its own finish, so doors, shelves, sides, backs, and inserts can all use different colors.
Can I combine different materials in one furniture design?
Yes. You can choose a material independently for every panel when that material is compatible with the panel type. The configurator filters out combinations that are not production-ready.
Do I have to start from a preset?
No. The four starters are shortcuts only. You can begin from a blank base module or use the Design Wizard to generate a first structure.
Will I receive the exact design shown in my cart?
The cart and order retain the design geometry, panels, finishes, and dimensions. Checkout revalidates the configuration and recalculates pricing server-side before payment.
How long does a custom order take to produce?
Production normally takes 3–14 days before ocean freight. Total delivery time depends on the destination and is explained in the shipping policy.
Is Klackjoy affiliated with USM?
No. Klackjoy is an independent manufacturer. Its modular system is designed around compatible physical dimensions, but it is not made, sponsored, or endorsed by USM U. Schärer Söhne AG.
