Shipping Policy

1. Shipping Overview

Klackjoy is committed to delivering your modular furniture safely and efficiently. Due to the specialized nature of our products, shipping times and methods may vary based on your location, order size, and product availability. All shipping timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed delivery dates.

2. Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 3-7 business days. Processing time may be extended during:

  • Peak seasons and holidays
  • High order volumes
  • Custom or special orders
  • Inventory replenishment periods

You will receive an email confirmation once your order has shipped. Please note that processing time is separate from shipping transit time.

3. Estimated Delivery Times

The following are estimated transit times after your order has shipped:

Important: These are estimated timeframes only. Actual delivery times may vary due to customs processing, carrier delays, weather conditions, remote locations, or other factors beyond our control. Klackjoy is not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers or customs authorities.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on:

  • Package weight and dimensions
  • Delivery destination
  • Shipping method selected
  • Special handling requirements for furniture items

Final shipping costs will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. We reserve the right to adjust shipping rates based on carrier fee changes.

5. Large Item & Furniture Shipping

Due to the size and weight of modular furniture components:

  • Orders may be shipped in multiple packages that arrive separately
  • Freight or specialized shipping may be required for large orders
  • Curbside delivery is standard; inside delivery is not included
  • Elevator or stair-accessible delivery locations are required
  • White glove service may be available at additional cost
  • You are responsible for inspecting packages upon delivery

6. Risk of Loss & Title Transfer

Title and risk of loss for all products pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. While we take care to package items securely, we are not responsible for damage that occurs during transit. We strongly recommend inspecting all packages upon delivery and noting any visible damage on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing.

7. Customs, Duties & Taxes

For international orders, you are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and fees levied by your country. These charges are not included in our product prices or shipping costs. Klackjoy has no control over customs policies and cannot predict what duties may apply. Refusal to pay customs charges may result in return of the shipment at your expense.

8. Address Accuracy

Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, you will be responsible for reshipping costs.

9. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information via email. Please allow 24-48 hours for tracking information to update. For any shipping inquiries, please contact our customer service team with your order number.

10. Delivery Issues

If you experience delivery issues:

  • Damaged packages: Document damage with photos and report within 48 hours of delivery
  • Missing packages: Check tracking information and contact us after the estimated delivery window
  • Partial shipments: Verify all packages have been delivered before reporting missing items

Claims for damaged or lost items must be filed within 7 days of the delivery date (or estimated delivery date for lost packages).

11. Shipping Restrictions

We currently do not ship to PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or certain remote locations. Some products may have additional shipping restrictions. We reserve the right to cancel orders to restricted locations.
