Return & Refund Policy

1. Return Policy Overview

At Klackjoy, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with our modular furniture. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds may be requested. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

2. Return Window

You may request a return within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery. After this period, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds.

Return requests must be initiated by contacting our customer service team. Do not ship products back without prior authorization; unauthorized returns will not be processed.

3. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, items must meet ALL of the following conditions:

  • Product is in original, unused, and unassembled condition
  • All original packaging, including boxes, foam, and protective materials, is intact
  • All components, accessories, hardware, and documentation are included
  • Product has no signs of use, wear, scratches, or damage
  • Original tags and labels are still attached (if applicable)
  • Product was not assembled, installed, or modified in any way

We reserve the right to refuse returns or reduce refund amounts for items that do not meet these conditions.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are NOT eligible for return or refund:

  • Custom or made-to-order products
  • Products configured using our 3D configurator with non-standard specifications
  • Products that have been assembled or installed
  • Products with visible signs of use or damage (not caused by shipping)
  • Products returned without original packaging
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Gift cards
  • Products marked as non-returnable at time of purchase

5. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact our customer service within 14 days of delivery
  2. Provide your order number and reason for return
  3. Await Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
  4. Package items securely in original packaging
  5. Ship to the address provided with your RMA
  6. Provide tracking information to our team

Returns without an RMA number will not be accepted or processed.

6. Return Shipping Costs

Customer Responsibility: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless:

  • The item was damaged during shipping (must be reported within 48 hours)
  • The wrong item was sent
  • The item is defective due to manufacturing fault

We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method. Klackjoy is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

7. Restocking Fee

A restocking fee of 15-25% may be applied to returned items to cover inspection, repackaging, and processing costs. The exact fee depends on the product category and condition of the returned item. This fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

8. Refund Process

Upon receiving and inspecting your return:

  • We will notify you of the refund status within 5-7 business days
  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method
  • Refund processing may take 10-15 business days to appear on your statement
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable
  • Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted

We reserve the right to reduce refund amounts based on the condition of returned items or missing components.

9. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please initiate a return and place a new order for the desired product. This ensures the fastest processing time.

10. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item:

  • Document the damage with photos immediately upon delivery
  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Retain all original packaging for inspection
  • Do not attempt to assemble or use the damaged product

Claims reported after 48 hours may not be eligible for full replacement or refund. We may require photos, videos, or return of the damaged item for inspection.

11. Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled without penalty if:

  • The cancellation request is made within 24 hours of order placement
  • The order has not yet been processed or shipped

Orders that have already been processed or shipped cannot be cancelled. Custom orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.

12. Warranty Claims

Warranty claims are separate from returns. Manufacturing defects discovered after the 14-day return window may be covered under our product warranty (if applicable). Please contact customer service for warranty-related issues with your proof of purchase.

13. Final Decision

Klackjoy reserves the right to make final decisions on all return and refund requests. We may refuse returns or refunds that do not comply with this policy, or that we believe to be fraudulent or abusive.
